The Wagon Wheel and Mustang Flea Markets have been staple attractions of Pinellas County since the mid-1960s. Our flea markets have something for everyone, from toys to tools, purses to sunglasses, apples to air filters, sweet treats like ice cream and churros, to ice-cold Bud Light.
So what’s the difference between the Wagon Wheel and the Mustang?
Well, there are a few aspects that make these two bay area flea markets different from each other. For starters, the hours of operation.
The Wagon Wheel is only open every Saturday and Sunday from 8 in the morning until 4 in the afternoon, rain or shine. The Mustang, open every Saturday and Sunday 7am until 2pm is also open on Wednesdays from 7am until 2pm.
What you’ll find at each market.
The Mustang is a much more traditional flea market in that it is completely outdoors. You’ll find many more garage sales and used items, as well as collectors items like coins and badges. There’s also a section where you can find new tools, hand carts, and other general hardware-type items.
Everyone’s favorite section of the Mustang, is its massive produce section, stocked full of unique and exotic fruits and vegetables that you’d be hard pressed to find anywhere else in the Tampa bay area.

We have vendors that make signs and stickers , custom embroidery, alterations, As Seen on TV items, dresses, books, plumbing supplies, jewelry and jewelry repair, e-cigarettes, cell phone accessories and activation, insurance enrollment, kettle korn, flavored nuts, snow cones, Italian ice, new and used clothes, treats for pets, accessories for pets, and even pets themselves.
We’ve got leather belts and wallets, comic books, all kinds of hats, authentic sports jerseys and jackets, golf supplies, fishing supplies, appliances, Crocs, Cuban cigars, honey, jam and jelly, incense, Native American gear, Harley Davidson gear, perfume, pocket knives, sunglasses, watches and we have the largest selection of beach and Florida souvenirs in all of the Saint Petersburg – Clearwater area. While the Mustang has continued to retain its traditional look, feel, and personality, the Wagon Wheel has kept up with the hustle and bustle of modern times. The jist of it all is this: our flea markets don’t have a specific “type” of customer. We offer a safe, family friendly environment, with bargains and treats that will excite people of all ages.
